We went to our first Halloween party of the month a few weekends ago. It was lots of fun. Alexis was a Renaissance princess, Camile was Batwoman, and Kourtney was the Pink Power Ranger, while I was the Yellow Power Ranger!!

Castles N Costers!

Last weekend my friend Jaymeson's family invited Michael and I to go with them to Castles n Costers. It was so much fun! Michael, Jaymeson, Jacob (Jaymesons brother), and I road rides like crazy! For the first time EVER I finally got up the guts (after a lot of pleading from the boys) to get on the "Sky Diver". It is one of those rides that takes you straight up and drops you super fast! But unlike the other ones I have seen THIS one does not slow you down and bounce you back up, no, THIS ride drops you and slows you down RIGHT before you hit the ground to die. It was super fun though, and we laughed and had lots of fun. :)

I'm now in a new place. these are two of my three roommates. Kourtney on the left and Beth on the right. Love these girls. We have fun and have had crazy times. ha :)

there was one point when we had four couches and a chair. As you can probably imagine our living room (small) could hardly hold all of this furniture. So we talked to our land lord and asked if they new of anyone in the ward that needed a couch and if so we had an extra one that we wanted to get rid of. So we put it our on our porch (which is in the back yard..in side a fence). One day we get home and see this....

I am getting ready to move again! I'm moving to a way cheaper apt. and a new ward (because the one I'm in is too far to drive every Sunday..stinkin gas prices). BUT I am moving in with my cousin Kourtney :) we went and painted it last week (the colors the land lords wanted ha) and it looks great! I cant wait to move in. I'll have pictures soon :)

I went to the Zoo lights at the Phoenix Zoo on Wednsday night for my Loverly friend Megan's birthday! :D I got to hang out with some of my favorite people and walk around looking at all the amazing and i'm sure expensive lights. Its crazy how much creativity you can see and how much work they put into their show. There were butterflys "flying" in the trees and elephants " spraying" each other in the face...eventhought we did get to see the real elephants! :) but MY favorite thing of the WHOLE night was the Trees that "danced" to music! Oh it was fantastic! I didn't get to record it sadly but I did get a picture of all of the trees lit up in white!

Fall Festival!

This weekend my roommate Laura, my cousin Amber, and I went to a YSA little Fall Festival. It was requested that I post a picture of my awesome roommate and myself. So here we are TADAH!! ha :) On our way out for a night of fun.

The Up Date

Alright, well I have been living in the valley for a month now, and this is some of the things I've done...

~ I [now] drive to Institute without using my GPS.

~ I can get on and off the freeway without wigging out.

~ I drove the the airport [to get Riley] all by myself. AND got back out again.

~ I've been swimming 3 times.

~ I've been to 3 different libraries.

~ Been Country dancing.

~ went on a camp out

~ hung out with Amber & Tally

~ Chilled with the Hylands

~ and had my car break down...

THE CAR!

..yes, my car broke down. After driving me around for 1 month, it freaked. As I was driving to my loverly cousin Amber's house [on monday] I was getting off the freeway and as I stoped at the light i noticed that either Steam or Smoke was rapidly coming out from under my hood. Lucky for me Ambers house was right around the corner.

I let the car cool down for 2 hours before i went out and checked it again. It was still really hot and steaming so i called my dad. After the three of us girls looking under the hood for about ten min. we found out that the fans weren't turning...

Then I called my uncle Craig and he talked to dad and it was decided that i was to take my car to my uncles macanic the next morning.

The next day as i was driving to meet Craig at the car shop [all the while hopeing my car wouldn't explode], I got pulled over...yes, pulled over. The insanly happy cop started talking to me and said he pulled me over because of the cracks in my windsheld and that those aren't allowed. He took my info and went back to his car. After talking to me for another little while, he gave me a verbal warning to get it repaired. I told him that i was on my way to go get my car fixed and that i would tell my dad about the windsheld.

After dropping my car off I hung out with my uncle and the family. Around 7 p.m. we found out that he didnt even look at my car yet but would get it in the morning [this was wednesday]. As Alexis was driving me home i realized that i didnt have my house key! I left in on my car key for the repair guy. Lucky for me my roommate was home.

The next morning the repair guy said that my car needed a new radiator so he got to work on that. After a long day driving back and forth with my cousins and aunt around town, we finally got a call around 6 p.m. my car was finished!

Standing at the counter waiting to pay the 300 + dollars for my car my uncle asked if my car has AC. I happily answered, "yup! it sure does" the macanic said, "uh no you don't" looking at him i said, " well I had it up until monday when it over heated" and he went on to tell me it wasnt possible

SO after not having my car for 4 days i picked it up, drove it home and my dad and i fixed my AC :)

Alrighty so, this is my new how that I am living in, ha as you can see. It is a 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom house. I took pictures of all main places in the house. There is a nice big living room and cool kitchen with alittle table. Then the Master bedroom that I share with one other girl. We also share the master bath, just the two of us (the other girls share two other bathrooms) then the entry way that has, yup thats right! A pool table! whoot! ha I won 2 games yesterday out of 2 games that Riley and I played! :D Then we have the LOVERLY back yard that has nothing but a fine pit...in the valley..yeah I dont understand it but oh well ha its cool. :)

Alrighty, so I know I'm not all that great at posting blogs, but as my dad once put it..You know how you feel when you go to Savannahs blog and there isnt anything new yet? yeah when you get that feeling remember that you too need to post something. ha so I'm going to do my best with posting new stuff as often as I can.

I just moved to Chandler and had a great fist day alone. Church was wonderful, I like my roommate (the one that I know and is my room roommate) But I loved spending time with my parents for the fist days I was here. These are some pictures of before the left me here. I love them :)

So I have a wonderful mother that gave me a Wonderful idea yesterday that I'm going to do. I Love to look at buildings and houses and I also love to draw such things SO! I'm going to take pictures of the buildings I find interesting and put them in the book! that way when I go to draw some creation I can look at the things I like and be able to mix and match and mess with the ideas I like to make something I want! :D how wonderful is that?! So I might post some pictures of them once I start. ha so I can bore you all with them ha, sorry. Well that is the great idea! :D

Mommacita!!!

Alright so I'm pretty sure you are all aware of how wonderfully amazing Mom is. She is always vonentering her time and helping those around her. She has an BIG heart and a beautiful spirit about her. Not only is she the house doctor but she is a true healer. There are times in our lives where nothing will make you feel better than the comfoting words of a mother, or just knowing they are there.

(Moving to EAC)

There was a time a few years ago where I got some of the worst news of my life. One of my very best friends and her family died in a car accident. All I could do was run to my room and curl up in the corner and cry. My mother came up to my room to find me. She sat by me holding my shaking body as I cried my heart out. It is hard to comfort someone with a breaking heart but she did. She just held me until I stopped crying. I dont think I've ever felt my mothers love for me more than those moments when she stayed right there with me and cried with me.

My mother also has a Wonderful personality! I love spending time just the two of us. We have so much fun and always laugh our heads off! She is SO silly! She loves to entertain and put on silly skits. She is always so orgaized it amazes me. Every family trip or holiday she always has a plan so there is something that each individual will like. She always includes every one. She is one of the most giving and loving people I know. I love you. <3

Tiffany!

So many of you know that today was my Tiffany's birthday, and well I know its really late and its almost not her bday anymore but I had to put something up to let her know I love her! So Tiffany my dear, this is for you!!!

Here is a little about my sweet sister that is only two years and a week older than me. People ask us all the time if we are twins, who is older, or just get us mixed up completely. And naturally this makes me happy 1) because we are not twins and I am younger ha and 2) Tiffany is one of the prettiest and fun loveing people I know. I dont mind ppl getting us mixed up.

Tiffany has a way of making people laugh. She has such a wonderful talent of being silly and lightening the mood. She makes life fun and interesting.

She helps me recognize the talents I have to share with the world and encourages me to use them and to not be afraid. I love playing the piano for her. She is one of my favorite ppl to play with and to play for. She loves me and encurages me to be the best I can be.

Tiffany, even though we have had our little quarals and disagreements (like the time we split the room in half with tape and were perfectly serious when it came to what part of the floor was ours and the 4th of my bed you wouldnt let me touch because it was on your side..the times I had to help you get out of a stupid situation...the times we would yell at eachother for stupid things), through all the hard times and agruments, Tiffany, you are the one I turn to. You are the one I call up when nothing is going right. The one I look to for answers when things just arn't making sense. You are the one that seems to understand how I feel and how I think more than anyone esle. You know how to cheer me up and how to make me smile. Tiffany I am so greatful for you. I love you and admire you.

I said, I could do your make up like that. :] So I put some wicked cool eye shadow on her I think i used 4 to 5 colors, but then we put Egyptian eyeliner on her hahahaha. FACE PAINTING!!!!

So like normal ha My roommates and I didn't have anything to do so naturally we did something un-natural. ha. We decided to paint our faces. I was thinking okay sure just paint little objects all over each others faces....

that is where I was wrong...Rachel was going to start painting my face first...little did I know she was going to paint my WHOLE face!!!

So I wasn't going to let her get away with this, so then I painted her whole face! Ashely wanted to join in so then Rachel (our new roommate) and I painted Ashleys face. then we all took turns painting a "feature" on each others faces..I think we turned out...Interesting

The Day In Tucson!

So my roommates and I decided that we wanted to get out of the town of Thatcher (which by the way Zak calls Mr. HotVill) and go have a little road trip!! "Onward through the fog" was the phrase of the day, because we just kind of wondered around not knowing where we were going ha. We Sang our lungs out on the road and danced like nobody's business!

We ended up going to a place called 4th ave. I have never seen a place like this, its kind of like the Hollywood Blvd. of Tucson...strange place, it was like a different world down there. It was a total hippie street! Tie die stores everywhere. Peace love and drugs! Dreadlocks on everyone and just...dirty ppl...

Ha! there was this "pub" that made us laugh really hard so naturally I took a picture...

Next was the Hippie Gypsy. This store was HUGE!!! the whole building was painted. It was amazing. Inside the store there were posters bumper stickers jewelry, authentic hippie clothing, hats, and backpacks. It was pretty Legit.

Then like most girls that go to a city from a small town, we went to a mall! haha even though we didn't buy anything, it was just for the heck of it anyway. We decided to talk with British accents the WHOLE time we were in the mall hahaha!! It was so funny and so much fun, we got lots of weird looks that made it all worth it. :D

Christmas break!

Brain surgery!

So some of you may know & some of you may not but I have/had (she moved out today) a roommate that hasn't been the best. There were soo many problems we really don't have time to go through them all. But to get to my point, she hasn't payed rent for 3 months and our land lord was getting very very upset. So this roommate, (lets call her Ann, with and "e"), she came to the conclusion that lying to our land lord would be the best way to get around the money she owed...

First: AnnE decided that she would just ignore M'lee (el land lord) when she called. So M'lee would come to the house instead, and annE would jump in the shower...

Second: She thought well he I will just tell the land lord that I took the money ($500- or so she said) to her house already and she must have lost it. But when asked about what the house looks like she hung up on the land lord who then came to give us the utility bill and talk to us right when AnnE called and asked us what her house looked like...

Third: After our land lord came over to our house and gave us an envelope for annE with an eviction notice inside. Well she didn't like that so she tried to think of something to tell M'lee, something big as an explanation for why she wasn't able to play the rent....yes, you guessed it she got the BRIGHT idea to tell our land lord that she was getting brain surgery over Christmas break and that is why she wasn't able to pay her rent..even though she already said that she gave m'lee $500 for rent..hmm..

when asked by an anonymous person (one of my other roomies) through a text about when her surgery was she freaked out! her boyfriend asked how many people she told that to and she said I only told m'lee!

So, needless to say she left for Christmas break today and our land lord told us that over Christmas break that she is going to change the locks so our loverly AnnE wont be able to get back in..yeah ha...there ya have it. :D

Okay so all of my hard work of the semester has finally payed off! Today I spent 5 hours rendering by dance studio. Today is the day I've been looking forward to since the first day of class! Finally my Building is finished. :D

This weekend I went home to say goodbye to my friend Jeff, he left for the MTC today. Well his little shindig wasnt until saturday night so I spent all saturday with my dad. :]

We were bulding wall supports and putting up drywall for the new bedroom he is building upstairs. Then after we did all we could do with the drywall for the moment dad told me to look at the sky light. It had cracks all over it and looked really bad. Then out of no where dad asked if we should go to the store and get a new skylight! So naturally, we did! After having a wonderful adventure at the store haha we went home and got right to work!

On sunday after church and a few more hours of visiting I headed back to Thatcher.

I had such a good weekend just my dad and me workin on the house. Some of you may not think that working on the house all weekend would be all that fun. But I love it. Its a time and a place that I get to be away from the worries of life and the struggle of school and just get closer to my dad. Its something that I have always done with him, and its when I feel most like myself. Just joking around, listening to classic rock (most of the time), trying to solve the little problems we run into, and of corse sharing a GIANT glass of water. These are the times that made me realize that I love drafting and house designs. These are the moments that helped me decide what I want to do with my life. It brings out the Me inside. :]

Thank you dad for letting me help you this weekend, it was something I really needed. I love you and mom so much. Thanks for supporting me in my goals and my dreams and all I do. And thank you for creating a place I can run/turn to, thank you for building a home I love.

1HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

So for Halloween my roommates and I, like most people, dressed up! Ashely was a comic statue named Karl, Liz was a Pirate named Captain Valentina, and I was the Pal white Vampire! We were so excited I started painting/putting make-up on my roommates at 5:30! Yes I did the make-up and face paint for my roomies and myself! psh I rock haha just joshin. Well anyway here are some pictures we took at home and at the Institute Halloween Dance!

Ha okay so we went back home to change our shoes [because we all had some type of heels on =/] And before we left we left the door unlocked for our roommate Annie because she forgot her keys. So we headed back home after the dance and were locked out because WE forgot our keys. So we layed out on the porch of 45 min. playing the laughing game, for those of you who don't know what that is, everyone lays on someones stomach and then they say "hhuh" so their stumach goes up and down then the next person does it twice and you see how many people can go before everyone starts laughing, its fun!

I had some really cool eyelashes that were super long and Purple! My black hair worked perfectly! and my Extremely white skin also worked to my advantage. :D

So this weekend was the Homecoming dance. Everyone was to wear white shirts because there were crazy glow sticks and stuff everywhere. So Ashely Liz and myself went together and our other (new) roommate (Annie) went with her boyfriend. It was a crazy night of fun and dancing. So when you move away and end up living with roommates you pretty much have to get out of that little comfort zone and let yourself be the person you are with your family. So naturally roommates become your second family.

The good thing about this is that you have super friends that will be super excited for you when you are excited. Talk to you when you're sad. Make you soup when you are sick. Get you hyper and awake when you dont want to be. Call or text you when they are home visiting their familys because they miss ya. haha People that will go crazy with you for no reason at all. Amazing people that will stay up for three hours laughing because both of you sound rediculous! And write down and post up the stupid phrases you say just so you wont ever live them down. My roommates are absolutly amazing and I am soo glad I got stuck with them as my family away from home. :D

As those of you who read this probably already know from reading my mom and my sisters blogs, but I also wanted to send my love to a wonderful family. My uncle Bill is going to Iraq to serve for a year. He is an amazing man that has dedicated his life to his family and his country. He is rough sometimes and I tell him that I would never introduce him to friends, but this is just because I'm not sure they can handle how "cool" he is. ha. But honestly Bill, I want you to know that I truly love you, and have always felt your love for me and my family. Although I don't know exactly how hard this is going to be on you, Kim, and your little kids, I still understand that all of you will be having a hard time. Kim, I am here for you and I love you and your family with all my heart. If there are weekends you need someone to hang out with just call me, I am only a little ways away. You and Bill have always been so kind and welcomed me into your home, I am here for you anytime you and your family need me. I am fasting and praying for all of you, to help you find peace and happiness in the hard year to come. We're family, and families stick together threw the good and bad times. I love you all.

MY DANCE STUDIO!!

So in my Comercial drafting class we are designing commercial buildings ha weird I know! Well I decided that I wanted to designe a dance studio. After I decided that I started sketching and trying to get some desine ideas. This first picture is what I came up with one saturday (on my paint program on my computer) for a basic look of the outside of my building.

Since then I have been working for about five weeks, two days a week, spending about 15 to 20 hours plus on the Dance Studio floor plan. I turned in my rough draft yesterday to get some feed back from my teacher. I got a 95% on it!! There were only a few dimentions that weren't perfect but he said I did really well and that it looked really perfesional! He also used my drawing as an example today in class!! So here are a few pictures I took when I got home, sorry there a little hard to see. (p.s. the paper is HUGE! One of the drawings takes up over half my bed.)

Ha okay so my roommate Ashley and I went to FHE last night and we were both wearing our glasses and one of the girls in our group was sitting across from us and out of no where she asked if we were twins...ha no joke! We don't thing we look like twins at all ha. Let us know what y'all think...

Hot Rods!

The Car Show this year was AMAZING!!! We had great weather and some pretty sweet hot rods! Dad and Zak laughed at me because I was more in love with all the rockin old school cars rather than with the two rows of mustangs.

They broke down and Zak Attack offerd to help out and take a look under the hood. (ha I'm pretty sure he has no ideah what he's looking at.)

Well last week I went home to go see Zak in the parade and to go with him and dad to the car show. Here are a few pictures that we took while waiting for Zak to pass by us with the band. ha and if you're asking why there aren't any pictures of him its because i was video taping him.

Spending the day with the fokes was so much fun! It was a wonderfull and beautiful day for a parade.

So ya'll know Zak so there really isn't anything new about new ppl I've met. ha. But I was going threw my pictures and I noticed that there are a lot of the two of us!! Over the last few years it has been just Z and I at home until I moved. But in that time he has become one of my best friends. Ha don't get me wrong he still has those annoying little brother moments, but hey its cool. haha we have some pretty amazingly retarded moments and we love to take pictures together!!!! I can't even explain how cool and sweet he is. He texts me ALL the time and we just joke around forever! He knows how to make me laugh and make me happy. ha in ways he acts like a older brother. I always ask him before I go somewhere if I look alright and he lets me know the truth ha or randomly he will say that he likes my hair or my makeup that day. haha he is the best little brother i could ever ask for!

So one night we came home from an institute activity and wanted to do something crazy, so Liz and I went to wal-mart and bought some "strong hold" hairspray. Then after we got back home we teased our hair and sprayed it until all of it was sticking straight up in the air!!! It was the coolest thing!! Then we had three cameras going all at once trying to take pictures, here are a few good ones! Enjoy :D

This year I'm rooming with three amazing girls that are just as silly and crazy as i am!!! ha i love just being around them, they are my little family away from my family. We rock this like you've never seen! haha

Well first there is Ashley!
I've known her my whole life she is pretty much my sister! She is one of the most creative people I've ever met. She has amazing talent! But best of all she is SO funny! She can make me laugh no matter what, she's da best!

Next is Missy!!
Missy has been my roommate since my very first semester in college. I love this girl! She is such an insperation! She is so sweet and silly. She is both beautiful on the inside and out. She is one of the most random and crazy ppl ever! Here she is hanging outside the car and back in the other window! She is soo fun to have around!

Then there is LIZ!

our dearest Liz is from El Paso. The brave girl ventured to Thatcher and ended up in the best apt. in the eniter town! ha ha! She is completly crazy! Wich means she fits in perfectly. She is not only the youngest but also the tallest of the four of us. I have really grown to love her over the last month. It is going to be an amazing year!!!
